Ways to support St. Matthew's

Giving in person at the church via our electronic card reader machine. A weekly collection (offertory) is also taken during Sunday services
Gift Aid
Gift Aid is an arrangement that allows charities (including churches) to reclaim tax on a donation made by a UK taxpayer. This means every donation will be worth 25% more, at no extra cost to the giver. For example, with Gift Aid St Matthew’s church can claim an extra 25p for every £1 donated, which makes a huge difference. If you would like to support us via Gift Aid online, simply scan the QR code above and follow the instructions. Gift Aid forms are also available in church for other types of donations.

Building a Generous Church
Being good stewards requires us to decide what we will do with all that God has entrusted to us. The offertory response “All things come from you, and of your own do we give you” reminds us that all that we have is sourced from God’s provision. We are encouraged to give of time, skills and money to support the work of the church and that of other charities that build God’s kingdom. Much of this giving may be regular giving from our income, but we should also consider what we will do with the wealth that we accumulate.
